I loved everything. The chalet is well built, has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a tiny kitchen complete with an air fryer!!! Hot shower, a hammock on the balcony, and direct access to the beach sand. The hospitality and welcome are surreal! You feel like family!! I adored everything!!! The only thing I didn’t like is that I wish I could live here, but I can’t hahaha.

The accommodation price was great, but the place is amazing. However, the beach where it’s located has a sewage dump on the street that brings a bad smell and makes swimming at the spot impossible.

Right by the beach, but no service, no breakfast. Once, a grocery item cost about 25 € plus a 30 € delivery fee from the property manager – a price gouging for a very short trip. They refused to give a short route so I wouldn’t get lost. They could speak more German, but they sometimes refused it when I needed help. Extreme mosquito infestation. I had to go to an international clinic because of a severe, painful allergy. Too few towels – my skin raged for the last two weeks. Three cockroaches in the kitchen below. A neighbor was constantly screaming 20 m away from the other property behind my head. That was the worst part. I could almost never leave the chalet. The community password was shared for the whole campsite. A rude neighbor kept intruding into my quiet YouTube listening. I almost never dared to check my online bank account. My planned two‑day tours were blocked by the booking.

The climate at Vila dos Gnomos is excellent. Sleeping with the sea noise, waking early to walk on the beach, diving, and getting ready for a workday – there’s nothing better! Flávio (host) is super nice. Everything is very organized, clean, with great guests and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend! Everything was excellent!
