The facilities were very good, but I told the host I’d arrive early in the morning just in case there was an issue with check‑in. He said the electronic lock would work and that I could locate it. When I got there late, the electronic lock didn’t work because the battery was dead, so I waited an hour at the door for a phone reply. I finally got in touch when I was already looking for a hotel nearby that night. He gave me another code for a manual lock that let me open the door. I’d suggest asking for both codes to avoid this problem, or at least ensuring the lock is available.

“Great stay one of the best rooms I booked for so far.”

I appreciated having my own private room, but I didn’t realize the driveway was long and poorly lit, and the bus stop was a little too close for my liking.

The spot was fantastic—just a walk to the Eden Bar, Thai, and a bunch of other awesome restaurants, plus a bike or walking path a block away; you could even catch a space launch from the driveway or watch the sunset over the lake behind. The bed was comfy, though a bit small for two, and everything stayed spotless. On the downside, the driveway can scrape the bottom of your car if you drive faster than humanly possible, and the checkout checklist felt excessive given the $75 cleaning fee.

Everything stayed clean and the staff were accommodating, the location was easy to reach, and the AC was excellent. The only suggestion I have is for older guests—my 80‑year‑old uncle found the AC too cold at night, so a quilt or comforter would be a nice addition.
