The location is stunning! The room is very spacious, the garden view is pleasant, and the sea view from the breakfast area is also nice. However, the value for money feels a bit high because small details don’t match the standard of this type of hotel, like a slightly torn headboard and missing paint on some damaged doors in the restaurant area.

The bed comfort, sea view, breakfast, and room size are all good. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub in the room had sewage backflow with deposits rising up.

Breakfast by the sea, the size and comfort of the rooms, and the hotel’s prime location in the city are all positives. Yet, given the high room rates, the reputation, and the historic standing of the place, the lack of a pool is a real disappointment compared to similar hotels in Deauville and Trouville.
