The pools were a highlight, but the drinks were far from the reception, which made it hard for us to bring kids along, so I missed out on the adult pool.

The personnel were warm and helpful, almost making us feel like part of a hotel family. The food and service consistently matched a high‑quality standard, and the overall resort, especially the pool area, was very beautiful. Live bands added great vibes, and the fitness studio was well equipped, creating a lovely atmosphere—everything you’d expect from a 5‑star all‑inclusive. Relaxation and enjoyment were guaranteed, and the place was pet‑friendly; for an extra fee, our dog could join us in the restaurants, and both staff and guests were very animal‑loving. Some buildings were under renovation, with extensive refurbishments underway. The amenities were good but a few years old, so improvements are likely. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi in my room didn’t work, and the hotel couldn’t fix it during my stay; a room change might have helped. The hotel sits right on the sea, but the water was not as clean as one would hope for a Caribbean beach because of a seaweed bloom, though the beach itself was cleaned regularly.

The food and restaurant service were good, but I didn’t appreciate that I wasn’t warned the rooms weren’t suitable for elderly guests with mobility issues because they have two steps. I fell on the first step, lost consciousness and had to be taken to the hospital; I’ve since recovered. I’m grateful to the manager who moved us to another room and checked on my progress throughout the stay.

The rooms, meals, and location were all great. The only minor comment is that the buffet wait was quite long for some dishes; maybe more equipment could be added.

The food and staff were awesome, and the rooms were great, but the pools and beach closed ridiculously early, there’s a lot of construction, and the elevators in building 5 were very hit and miss.
