The view of the sea was fantastic, and because the building sits in the mountains, the surrounding trees were soothing. From the bath you could see the nearby trees and it felt hot. The building is old, so the room’s facilities are not great.

“大雨で雨漏り”

The staff were genuinely concerned when I had a problem, and the view from the room was amazing. The free massage chairs in the large bath’s relaxation area were high‑quality and great. I stayed on a rainy day and there was leakage everywhere, even in my room; I had to lay towels to cope. The concrete ceiling in the large bath had deteriorated, with parts falling off. It’s an old property, so some things are inevitable, but the equipment is undeniably poor.

“Strongly recommend !!!”

We booked a family room with a sea view and it was fantastic. The staff were charming, the onsen was great, and dinner was delicious. Breakfast was a Japanese spread, and they even gave pancakes for the kids. The hotel sits on a hill, so if you’re biking it’s a bit of a climb. We were on the Shimanami Kaido and it would have helped if the hotel could have transferred our luggage to the next stop.

“Hotel hatte eine tolle Lage; der Rest war enttäuschend, Preis für die Qualität zu hoch”

The location is good and the view is nice. However, there are no private bathrooms, the facilities feel quite rundown, the reception doesn’t speak English, and the breakfast is only Japanese.
