Porridge at breakfast and a cozy room were highlights, but the reception desk workers should lift their computers higher because they’re crouching or kneeling, which isn’t healthy.

The breakfast was standard for a hotel, with excellent coffee and a few flavored creamers available. I had three prepaid rooms, but the hotel didn’t receive payment for two of them until a long back‑and‑forth conversation that lasted almost an hour, plus a 15‑minute chat with the desk clerk; meanwhile only one room was cleaned and we had to wait for the other two, with one not ready until 7:30 pm after we arrived at 4 pm. I wasn’t the only guest experiencing this; another man was also on the phone about his reservation at the same time. After this ordeal, I’m unsure if I’ll stay here again.

Breakfast was tasty and the coffee was superb. I stayed in room 421 and it turned out to be a non‑smoking room that still carried a strong, old tobacco smell—something I can't get rid of, even though I don't smoke.
