“A wonderful stay in main Agava Heritage Hotel”
We were upgraded to Babina 16 ulica, the main Agava Heritage Hotel, instead of the Krizeca Ulica 6 branch. The property was immaculate and full of character, with a two‑part structure: a main hall and an opposite block. We stayed in the opposite block top‑floor room 12, which had a double bed and a child sofa bed. The window offered the best view toward the sea and Split coast. The bathroom was well‑sized, well‑lit, and clean, with a powerful hot shower that didn’t smell because of limited ventilation. It had a kettle, free teabags, coffees, and a mini‑fridge that you could buy water, wine, snacks, etc. The big‑screen TV worked fine, but strong wind sometimes caused a slight signal loss. Because of storm conditions we stayed in the hotel room, but the high‑speed internet and TV kept us entertained. We received a breakfast voucher for B7 restaurant by the port, a 5‑minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with options like French toast, egg Benedict, scrambled egg, granola, tea, coffee, etc. The hotel is in a vehicle‑free zone. For taxi transfers from/to the airport, the waiting address is Solurat Ulica 22, and it’s a literal 3‑minute walk to the hotel. There are many nice restaurants within a 5‑minute walk. We appreciated owner Marina and receptionist Paula’s guidance, and the cleaner who tidied our room daily. My little boy said he will revisit the hotel again. Thank you. The top‑floor room had some original stone wall character that was pretty but slightly lacked insulation. Be aware of the narrow, steep staircase on the opposite block building, especially after rain, with slippery marble floor tiles.
