Location, basic facilities like towels, soap, shampoo, AC, etc. Friendly guests and nice service. Nothing specific to note given the price. Don’t expect quiet surroundings around the hotel during the day and night. If you’re driving, you may struggle to find parking space.

Hotel Gopala sits in the heart of Indore, just steps from every tourist spot and the Sarafa Bazar night food market where you can try local indori snacks. The rooms are spotless and the staff are courteous and helpful. Overall, the place is excellent value for money, though only RO water is supplied.

The bathroom smelled bad and the AC never worked all night, making for a terrible experience; I don’t recommend it.

Location was both yes and no. If you reach there anytime after 10AM, your car cannot go to the hotel and you will have to drag all your luggage there. It was very inconvenient but they did send a person to help. We stayed on a Saturday and and as you come out, there was a huge night market from 9.30PM to about 3AM where you can eat almost anything on the stalls, all veg, from grilled sandwich to icecream to golgappe to paronthe. I would say you can get whatever you want. There were mre than 100 shops. So location wise we liked it very much afterwards. The market is everynight but on a smaller scale from Monday to Friday (probably 50+ shops). Taxi cannot reach the hotel after 10AM. Rooms can be a bit more clean
