Excellent welcome, kind and caring staff, very spacious room, strategic location to reach both nightlife spots in Catania. The parking on weekends was a problem. Note: the blue lines on the left side of the B&B street were removed by the municipality (in a vague way) and the police issue fines.

The host was very understanding and helpful after we missed a day because of the Etna eruption, staying in touch and trying to accommodate our changing plans. When we arrived the room was clean and nice, and the location is in a nicer part of the city, about a 15‑minute walk from the main bus and train stations and close to all of Catania’s sights while still feeling safe. The only downside was that it took a few minutes for the hot water to start running—just a heads up!

The area was quiet, the key hand‑over was well thought out, and the Italian breakfast was delicious, with cappuccino and fresh juice available. It’s about 16 minutes to the main station for trips to Taormina or Syracuse and roughly 20 minutes to the city centre. A lovely park is nearby and the pizza at Sazi e Sani is great.
