The location was close to Fortitude Valley and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was too small, the shower curtain didn’t work, the hand basin was way too small, and there wasn’t enough space between the end of the bed and the wall.

The room was clean and comfy with fantastic aircon, but check‑in was a pain and there’s no lift—lots of stairs—which is why I rated it as not meeting my expectations.

I didn’t like this place; the rooms are tiny and everything is squished together. It says there’s tea and coffee facilities but there’s no tap or sink to fill the kettle or wash dishes—you have to use the shower head. The photos make it look bigger and cleaner than it is. There were no staff present; we stayed four nights in two rooms with five of us, so when the bins ran out and we needed toilet paper we had to supply our own because I didn’t see any cleaners to ask for more. There was no spot in the bathroom to put toiletries, so we had to sit them on the toilet seat, which is disgusting. The water ran outside the shower onto the toilet area, which was only a foot away; no bathmat was supplied, so we had to use one of our towels, and again no one was around to ask for one. The fridge, even when set to the warmest setting, froze our food and ruined our fruits. Many other guests smoked right at the front door, so every time my kids and I walked in we had to pass through a cloud of smoke. This place operates more like a backpacker hostel than a motel, so I definitely would not recommend it for someone who wants comfort and not just an overnight bed. For what we got, the money we paid was ridiculous and not worth it.

I didn’t like it at all; the walls were paper‑thin, and the activities in the building and carpark were questionable.
