The facility is modern, spotless, and it’s clear the owners take great pride in their accommodation. We arrived at dinner time and, missing the offered options, Mary cooked a delicious Irish stew that hit the spot. One of our party felt unwell, so Mary prepared a toasted bagel and tea and John delivered it to her room. We were in the area specifically to find the farm from which my grandmother emigrated in 1906. John told me about some relatives and connected us to the local pub for more info. We met my father’s first cousin and spent time with her. Mary is upbeat, friendly, and witty, making you feel right at home. John is equally even‑temperament and gregarious. They made us feel at home. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of choices, and the table settings were charming. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Nothing was wrong; everything was just right.
