I didn't get much to praise, but the real issue was the cockroaches and the misleading description. There was no toaster, bath, coffee machine, washing machine, five beds, or stovetop – everything that was listed in the ad was missing. The free breakfast they advertised never arrived, and several dead cockroaches were found under the sink.

The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was excellent, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

The location was close to the beach and the pool was decent, but we never received breakfast. We asked for egg hoppers and wanted to eat at 8:00; we were told that would be fine. Late at night we got a message saying they didn’t make egg hoppers and no substitute was offered. When we went to look for breakfast there was nothing, and the manager was still asleep. We tried to wake him with no success. We ended up having a nice breakfast at Even Lodge around the corner – we probably should have stayed there instead.

Everything was very orderly and tidy, the gardens were beautiful with coconut trees, and the place was close to the beach. The host was great and the cook was awesome, so there was nothing negative to mention.
