The location is fine, but the hotel manager Emad never keeps any appointment, lies about everything, and makes big promises to only make money. This was not just my experience; other travelers told me the same during my trip to other places. If the owner fired him, the hotel would score much higher. The nightmare began at check‑in when the change I was confirmed to receive was denied, even though I showed the confirmation email. If he had nothing to do with it, it was an email from someone else. During my stay I had to move rooms for maintenance (which?), and it took more than half a day instead of half an hour, and more. I continued my stay at another hotel, incurring extra costs. In short, the worst hotel in 40 years of accommodation, purely caused by a terribly dishonest manager named Emad.

The view from the balcony next to the historic café Triannon is amazing, the price is good, the people are polite, and the hotel is quiet—ideal for a traveling person. Thank you very much for everything. The sheets were missing; the second best thing is to get them before you arrive. Alexandria is so beautiful that these insignificant details seem trivial.

The staff were friendly, the view was great, and the service was nice because I was only there during the day. The bathroom was a bit dirty, there was no shower cabin, and the floor was dirty and slippery—quite unhygienic.
