Located in the Demänovska Valley of the Low Tatras Mountain Range, Chaty Jasná chalets offer ski-to-door access 100 meters from the Chopok Ski Centre. Each chalet features a kitchenette, cable TV, and bathroom. Guests can prepare meals, use barbecue facilities, or dine at the nearby restaurant, which serves breakfast. The price‑performance ratio was excellent; the cabins aren’t modern but they delivered everything we expected, and the owner was communicative—when we asked for towels he brought them without issue. On arrival we received an SMS with all the necessary instructions, and we stayed in cabin 9B for two people plus our dog, which cost an extra 10 Euro per night. The only thing I can think of is that when “towels” are listed, I would have expected large bath towels ready on site, though I appreciate that the owner promptly supplied bigger ones after we asked.

The lodging sits in a beautiful spot right behind the forest, which was perfect for our kids, and it’s just a short distance from all the tourist attractions; we booked a cabin for five, the mattress was fantastic and we slept like babies, and the kitchen gear was superb. I have no complaints, except perhaps the outdoor playground for children could be a bit nicer.

A beautiful, tranquil retreat in cabins set in a blueberry‑filled forest; modern apartment blocks are being built nearby, but here you truly feel the nature at your fingertips. The cabin was well equipped, with nothing missing from the little kitchen, and the site offers free tools for firewood, roasting sticks, table‑tennis paddles, and more—everything you might think of or not. I hope this oasis withstands development pressure and stays as it is. I have no complaints; if you prefer spacious, modern comforts, look elsewhere, but if you want nature up close even at the cost of modest accommodations, this is the place.
