Everything else was fine, but they cleaned my room without my permission while I was away, and when I asked, the staff said it was their protocol. That’s not how rooms should be cleared without consent.

The location, food, and room comfort were fabulous. However, the food and room were a little expensive compared to other hotels in that area.

The staff—especially Mr. Chittaranjan, the cleaning crew, everyone in the dining area, the skilled cooks at the dhosa and eggs‑to‑order counters, and the guard on the early morning shift of the 27th—had pleasing personalities and a rare eagerness to help, making our stay memorable. The sea‑facing room offered a beautiful view and the surroundings were clean.
