The rooms facing the main road were noisy at night, so we moved to rooms that face the garden.

Breakfast was amazing; Batson is an incredible cook and very friendly, his food carries his positive vibes and the flavor really stands out. The room was nice, spacious, and very clean. The whole estate is well maintained and the pool looks so inviting. I highly recommend Eagles nest if you want a weekend breakaway or a slightly longer stay. Helen and her team are friendly and professional, making you feel at home and welcoming. They go out of their way to keep your stay comfortable. If you’re looking for a recommendation, look no further – this is the perfect place. If you want true South African “gees,” you’ve come to the right spot. The only issue was that we eventually had to leave, but otherwise there is nothing not to love about this beautiful place.
