The building’s architecture, the use of the common lounge, the atmosphere and the central village location are all positives.

The top‑floor dorms were the best in the hotel, the whole place and the view were gorgeous, the town was delightful, and the funicular was very handy; I didn’t have a swimsuit so I couldn’t use the pool. The lounge chairs in the sauna area need replacing and most people wore suits in the sauna, which made the heat a bit awkward. Despite that small issue, the place is very well run and lovely.
