The accommodation sits in the jungle on a mountain—what an amazing experience! Of course, if you’re after flashy luxury, this isn’t it. We managed to reach some incredible waterfalls—real gems that aren’t too touristy! Gede and his wife Putu made the stay even better by welcoming us into their family. They’re genuinely great people in a special place. Gede offers full tours in the jungle, the city, temples, and you can learn a lot from him; he also provides excellent massages if you want. He organized a dolphin‑watching trip in Lovina, and we went together… Putu is a Balinese kitchen wizard, serving authentic Balinese dishes on request. We had no negative experiences.

The host was amazing and extremely welcoming. Even though we only stayed one night, we felt like family. Both the owner and his wife are incredibly friendly and do their best to meet your needs. It felt like staying at home. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to live in the jungle’s middle and escape the busy town.

We were warmly greeted by Gede and Putu’s family. The vibe was family‑like; besides breakfast, we also had lunch and dinner on site. Highly recommended! The path up to the waterfalls is narrow—if you’re not in good shape it’s less convenient. It’s doable by scooter, not by car.

No complaints: access is difficult, but if you follow the rendezvous point, the simplicity and return are fine.
