The Hotel, Restaurant, Café Pharisäerhof - Nordseeurlaub mit Hund, a family-run hotel in Nordstrand, offers dog-friendly accommodations 2.5 km from the North Sea coast. Bright, newly renovated rooms feature flat-screen TVs, en-suite bathrooms, and bathrobes. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a hearty buffet breakfast, rental bikes, and a café serving regional meals. A ferry stop and Husum Train Station are nearby, with free on-site parking provided.

A great spot for dogs!

The house itself has a cozy charm with a pretty tea room, a very spacious breakfast area where the dogs could join at the table, and an inviting “Grandpa’s” armchair to relax in the evening for a nightcap. Despite the many dogs, the location was quiet and pleasant. The room was large enough for a dog and comfortably furnished; the beds were good 👍. A small farm shop with a lot of cute trinkets was lovingly arranged. However, the house and grounds feel dated. The facilities, especially in the bathroom, are borderline; the hair dryer is a challenge, and the shower and toiletries are inadequate. The cute dog bed shown in the photo turned out to be just a mattress covered with a glossy sheet. The dog spa area was a disaster! The advertised 600 m² outdoor area turned out to be a single field with big holes. It’s a shame the photos of the hotel, which are probably already outdated, don’t reflect what it is. The valid criticism about the totally unpalatable food (burnt hash browns) was ignored; instead of offering a replacement, they dismissed it with a shot of liquor at the end. In such a pretty old house, parking a ROBOT that delivers food is a bad choice; the dogs were scared of this monster!

For us dog owners it was simply perfect, and the food in the on‑site restaurant was excellent.

We were allowed to bring our two clean dogs back because there’s a dog‑washing station, which was really great, but the mattresses aren’t suitable for a longer stay (maybe we’re just spoiled).
