City Hotel Meckenheim

“Klasse Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, sehr gutes Frühstück, wir buchen erneut”

The breakfast was very good and extensive, with many vegan and vegetarian options and a wide selection. The single rooms were spacious with large beds. The heating was already on and the room was pleasantly warm. The shower was also great. The staff were friendly. The bathroom was old‑fashioned and the fan was so loud that I didn’t turn it on at night to avoid disturbing the neighbors. The lighting in the room, especially in the bathroom, could have been better.

The staff were very nice, and the room had a bathtub, which I loved. In the evenings there was no bar, and the noise level was high.

“Alles in Ordnung...etwas Luft nach oben, aber es sind wohl noch einige Veränderungen in Planung !”

The CityHotel has improved positively over the years. The manager is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is also good, and the service ladies are friendly and fast. Unfortunately, the old carpet is still in the rooms, the bathrooms are very tight, the roof window is hard to open and close—especially for older guests. The bed is okay, everything is clean.

“Prima voor doorreis”

The location was great for a one‑night stay. It was quiet, the bed was soft, and the breakfast was fairly good. The hotel was outdated but reasonably clean. It would have been modern 40 years ago.

“Zoals verwacht”

The breakfast was fantastic. Nothing else.
