Breakfast was continental and had everything you could want; the bed was good. The bathroom was built for disabled guests, which we are not, and it only had a bathtub with no shower curtain, so we had to submerge half the bath. The toilet tilted to the right, so we always sat on an inclined seat, and the toilet seat was loose and poorly mounted. In previous years we had consistently good rooms on the same corridor, so I hope this was an isolated case.

The staff were friendly, but the hotel did not match the standard or the pictures, was still under renovation, had bad beds and laundry, and Novotel is usually better.

The front desk, restaurant, and bar staff were friendly and professional, and speaking English at the reception was easy. We specifically chose a hotel with an outdoor pool so our kids could swim after the long drive from France, but the pool was closed for maintenance and no alternative or compensation was offered.

Everything was good, though the hotel is a bit outside the city; using Uber gets you in quickly, but avoid taxis.
