The place looked stunning and was a real escape, and the host answered our questions right away. The room itself was spotless and comfy, and we loved that it was so far out in the wilderness. The only hiccup was that the door didn’t lock, which could be a worry for some, and the jacuzzi never got hot enough to actually relax in.

The location was far off the beaten path, and at first Google Maps didn’t give the clearest directions from Otranto. The stay itself was very cozy, the breakfast was solid, and the pool was lovely. The only downside was the lack of clear directions – a quick note on the best route would help future guests.

The place was clean and beautiful, the garden was kept in perfect shape, and the breakfast featured a wide range of high‑quality local products. The mattress felt a bit too soft for me, and the shower was a bit narrow.
