“Good value, welcoming place - would definitely visit again”
The hotel sits in a superb spot—just a short walk from the centre and the train station. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, chatting about their hives, honey, and even introducing me to their dog. Breakfast was hearty and full of local produce, especially the honey. The bed was supremely comfy with a lovely duvet, and blackout curtains kept the room dark. The only drawback was the noise from the roundabout next to the front of the hotel, which kept traffic loud late at night and early the next morning—earplugs would help if you’re staying front. I only stayed one night of the three I had booked because of a family emergency, yet I was charged for all three nights, which feels like a terms‑and‑conditions issue.
