“Relax garantito”
We stayed at The Monteleone Umbria Retreat Resort and were truly thrilled by our experience. The property is wonderful, meticulously cared for, with refined furnishings and an elegant yet welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor areas are beautiful, surrounded by greenery and perfect for enjoying some quiet moments. A special shout‑out goes to the staff, who were always courteous, kind, and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also had the pleasure of meeting Giulia, who runs the resort with her husband, and their little Edoardo. It was truly nice to meet the people who make this place so special. ❤️ We especially appreciated the gesture from yesterday afternoon when they offered us pool popsicles—a small touch that perfectly illustrates the care and genuine hospitality we experienced. It’s a place where you feel truly at home, and we’ll be back soon! 🥰🌿✨
“Ottimo luogo dove potersi rilassare”
The pool and relaxation area were great, the rooms were clean and welcoming with all the comforts. The wide outdoor green space let us chill and have fun even with our dog. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The biggest drawback was the lack of a dinner option on site.
The building was lovely, situated right between historic villages. Everything else was great.

The apartment itself was excellent: very spacious, comfortable, well equipped with a fridge, two TVs, Pilates equipment and mosquito screens. The property and surroundings are also beautiful. A real highlight was the private cooking class with Davide at Crocus – quite expensive at €200 for two, but a fantastic, personal experience and absolutely worth it. Our main disappointment was the organisation of the “Experiences” advertised on the website. Despite repeatedly asking before arrival for a simple overview of times, availability and prices for five or six activities, we received very little information. Even once we arrived, getting these details through reception felt as though we were asking too much or inconveniencing the staff by requesting information about activities that are actively promoted by the property. The staff were generally polite and at times friendly, but the overall service felt rather minimal and lacked warmth and attention to detail. Many of the experiences also turned out to be external, private, quite expensive (€150–200 for two people) or not available at all. Combined with an average breakfast, disappointing lunch food, no dinner option during our stay and no service around the pool, the overall experience unfortunately fell short of what we expected from the way the property presents itself and the other ratings

We had a truly pleasant stay in a place surrounded by greenery, calm and peaceful – perfect for disconnecting from everyday life. The hosts were wonderful: warm, helpful and always making sure we felt comfortable. It’s a place we’ll gladly return to. The only small suggestion, especially for those traveling with medium‑to‑large dogs, would be to have a dedicated area where they can move, run freely and safely. That would be a nice addition to an already beautiful property.
