1 double bed
The place. It had no curtains and the bathroom was outside the room.
The shared fridge was fine, and the big room was great, but we couldn't use it because other guests had taken over. There was no front desk, just a box to pick up keys. The bed was tiny, and there was no soundproofing—neighbors threw a party and it was impossible to sleep. I called and emailed multiple times, but the hotel was unreachable.
“Geweldige ligging in Coyoacán, helaas overschaduwd door onnodige toeslagen en stank”
The hotel is in a lovely, safe neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Coyoacán, with attractions like Casa Azul (Frida Kahlo Museum) and the Trotski Museum right around the corner, plus plenty of cafés and a convenient ATM nearby. I understand the late‑checkout fee, but the early‑check‑in surcharge feels unfair, and they also added an extra percentage for late‑checkout and for using the ATM. The room felt very dusty, and a strong sewage smell wafted up from the shower drain.
I was disappointed because everything was shared, so there was no privacy at all.
“Average”
I liked the location and the parking, but when I asked for an extra towel there was only one, and they never delivered the others as promised, which was a bit inconvenient overall.
