This accommodation is usually reserved for student housing, so you basically get an empty student dormitory, which was fine since we just needed a place to stay the night. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. We had plenty of parking spaces, which was nice. Lisa at the reception was welcoming and kind, checking us in and giving useful recommendations on what to do and explore in the area. It would have been nice to provide hand soap in the bathroom. One of the more annoying things were the heavy doors; while I didn’t hear people in other rooms, I heard every single door that was opened and closed in the hall, which was super annoying early in the morning.

The front desk team was friendly and helpful, even stepping in to clean the room after I pointed out it hadn't been tidied. When the room‑door batteries died and my key card failed, they returned to try fixing it. The bed felt comfortable and the linens were clean, and the area around the hotel is quiet. However, the place was filthy: floors were scuffed, stained, and never vacuumed or mopped; the toilet and shower were unclean; kitchen floors and surfaces were dirty; the two mugs left in the dishwasher were still dirty from previous guests; lift doors, buttons, and walls were grimy. The door lock batteries died, causing the key card to stop working, so I had to prop the door open and later had to remove a battery to silence the beeping that kept me up all night. The rooms and corridors were unbearably hot and smelled of young male body odor. If it were a budget hostel, it might suit twenty‑somethings who don’t care about grime, but €87 a night should guarantee a clean room.

The hotel was quiet and clean, but parking spaces were not always sufficient.

Everything was spotless, the staff were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed in mid‑summer and the rooms were hot without air‑conditioning, and the hotel was quite far from any attractions.
