Sunset Hotel Marmaris

The location was solid, yet there was no nearby parking; it would have helped if the team had pointed us to a good spot and arranged a TUK TUK or similar for our luggage. Our friends on the floor above woke up at 2:00 am from the loud music coming from the rooftop bar, a detail that wasn’t mentioned on the site. The pillows were thick and firm—an option for a more normal pillow would have been welcome. We both ended up using the couch pillows, which were better but still not great, so our sleep suffered.

It was very central but that made it unreachable by car, and the bathroom was infested with dead cockroaches.

Hübsches Zimmer, tolle Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück auf der Dachterrase, sehr freundliches Personal. Steile Treppe zum Hotel, glücklicherweise wurde uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen

“This is a value for money option in a great location for shopping and restaurants”

The staff were friendly and helpful, the place is in a great spot, and the roof terrace/bar/breakfast area offers stunning marina views. The shower was excellent with toiletries included, and the Turkish‑style breakfast was lovely. We booked a single and a double; the single was well equipped but tiny, with a window that looked out onto a wall and a yard—fine for my needs. The double had a strong sewage smell; we asked for a change and got a suite, which was spacious and comfortable, but the old, stained sofas ruined the vibe.
