“Very unique and fun. Staff were amazing”
The place is very unique, though the road gets rough when it rains.

Everything was great: the receptionist was friendly, the food was delicious, and the accommodation was out of this world. The view was amazing, the staff were cool, and I even made friends with a lovely dog. I liked everything about the accommodation.

If you want a spot where forest meets sea, this is it. From the moment we arrived, the reception welcomed us like royalty. A gentleman named Rhino lugged our bags on a go‑cart to our cube and handed us another we could drive ourselves. The cube was spotless, offering total privacy and zero noise. They gave a full orientation—how to use the gas stove, sleep slider, aircon, etc. The room faces the sea, surrounded by green trees, and when it rains you can see drops on the transparent roof. A TV connects to Netflix/YouTube. The rain is brief, then clear skies let you watch stars from the bed. Chill nets are great for relaxing. The shower and outdoor bathtub water were scorching hot, electric blankets lined each side of the bed, and the aircon kept the room warm enough that I didn’t feel the winter. There’s a restaurant and a bar, and a fridge for leftovers if you prefer self‑catering. Nights were magical at the stargazing cube, watching lightning light up the sea and trees. We also rode quad bikes for an extra fee and found a spot with a clear view of the Indian Ocean. The only thing to watch out for is monkeys that might snatch your food if left outside, but they didn’t bother me. Thank you, Misty Mountain Reserve, for a truly novel stay ❤️. I wouldn’t trade that experience for a million rands and wish you continued success. Going back home 😔

It was a paradise, and we were lucky it was mostly a clear night so we had a stunning view of the starry sky from the Cube. Everything was perfect.

The pull‑out bed was definitely the highlight of our stay, which was overall very extraordinary. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was great, the drinks at the bar were top, and for dinner we used the grill facilities at The Cube.
