“Als Ausgangspunkt um Luxembourg und Umgebung zu erkunden gut geeignet.”
Modern, clean house with a separate elevator to the rooms that runs 24/7. The breakfast view was nice and the staff were friendly; the breakfast room was relatively empty at our times. We didn’t use the restaurant or bar, though it seemed busy in the evenings. Housekeeping was very nice and quick. Overall, a very calm and quiet hotel. Guests from L/F/B/D/UK enjoyed the lovely autumn weather and day‑tour experiences that quickly chased away any negative thoughts. In autumn, especially after the harvest, everything is a bit more relaxed. Re‑visit likelihood: 60‑70%. The description “rooms with terrace” and images suggesting a view of vineyards don’t always match reality. We stayed in room 104, a standard double room that was completely adequate, but the street location didn’t meet my expectations. It’s somewhat quiet and we were out most days, but we had expected a rear terrace. Breakfast was fine but modest. Small tip: the eggs should be cooked longer and the scrambled eggs are a bit “sloppy”. :-) I wonder why housekeeping always has to be out with equipment from 05:30 am? Couldn’t that be done when guests are away? For guests who talk on the balcony, the hotel can’t do anything, but it can be a bit annoying.
