“An average experience”

The room size was good, the bed comfortable. There was a lounge and dining area we could use, and a nice balcony to relax in during the evening. The host was friendly and welcoming. The location is on a dirt track next to the railway line. Entering the premises made us feel uneasy because it is still being renovated downstairs. The upstairs is good but basic. Travelling off‑season despite being told there were restaurants close by, there were none, the restaurants were closed. Compared to other accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was not the best value.

Very friendly owner! We could park our tuk‑tuk in the driveway. You’re right next to the train track and the sea. The train is quite loud because it really rushes past the house, but we didn’t wake up from it (we are heavy sleepers). The AC works great! The bathroom is new, a lovely shower, and you can set the temperature yourself (very rare in Sri Lanka). We highly recommend it!

Our stay was amazing! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with AC. The host made sure we felt welcomed, he prepared amazing food and coffees throughout the stay. He was helpful around the local area and made everything very easy. Thank you! Everything was perfect.

The accommodation was gorgeous, everything was spotless and well equipped. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from the lodging to the beach. The host was extremely kind, helped us with everything, gave advice and cooks superbly. He also kept us company with his friendly dog Noa and cat Tutu. We warmly recommend this place 😊

The owner was ready to do anything at any time! He let me use his fridge and fetched beers for me. He assisted me whenever needed. The room was clean and very tidy, the bed was very comfortable. The location is true to the train tracks, but it hardly bothers! It’s 5 minutes from the beach and a bit farther from the restaurants. He has a puppy, Noa, a love!! Great value for money! The facilities are still improving, but I got a lot for my money! The bathroom is shared, and it’s a combined bath and shower. But no problem. He offered me to use his bathroom if needed.
