The room was big and spacious, the staff very friendly and helpful, and there was a laundry room in the hotel plus a kitchen corner which was great; however, the hotel is rather old and outdated, located in downtown Hamilton which in this case was a downside, the area is full of weird crowds, homeless people and truly doesn't feel nice, safe or pleasant, leaving after dark felt risky, breakfast was okay although pretty basic, parking is paid in private garage for 19.50 per day, and the bed was pretty small for two people.

The room was clean, the bed sheets were very soft, staff was very kind, and the cookies at the front desk tasty; the main light in our room didn't work, the facilities are a bit old, and breakfast is average.

Location to venue; channel selection on the television wasn't great, mostly news channels, no movie channels at all.
