The owner was very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The room was super cute and cosy, giving us a home‑like feeling. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The location was great, with parking spaces and a nearby grocery store (Spar).

The garden is small but pleasant for evening sits, unless it rains, which happens often in the Azores. The host is very helpful whenever you ask a question or request something. We were fascinated by his story of moving from Italy to this remote Azorean spot. We found everything we needed on the property and enjoyed our stay, but there are two cautions for future guests. Our room, which we think is called Camelia, had its own toilet and shower, which is not true for all rooms; some guests have to share facilities, a detail that can be missed when booking and cause confusion. The building is an old local house that has been carefully restored, so don’t expect large rooms.
