“Boa mas fácilmente poderia ter sido melhor”
We liked the location, it’s isolated and very quiet, like being in the middle of a forest. Breakfast was very pleasant, with enough variety and quantity and many good products. In some of the places we’ve stayed, we’ve noticed a great effort by the staff to make guests feel welcome and relaxed. In this case, we didn’t feel welcomed and never felt completely relaxed. The first concern of the people who received us was to charge a fee for bringing the dog and leave us with the impression that animals are allowed but not welcome. Midway through, some questions/suggestions such as whether we would eat out or bring food to the room… Although check‑out was at 12 pm, they told us we should leave a bit earlier…? Because of all this we decided to leave right after breakfast (around 09:30 h). And to finish, the most absurd thing… we were already in the car, on our way, and the same gentleman made us stop because we didn’t leave the key of one of the rooms. After we said yes and where it was (inside the respective room), he replied he would check but that we shouldn’t leave without him coming back.
