Too much waste—everything disposable and NOT recyclable. Food was so‑so, and there were no bagels on Monday. The elevator carpet was dirty with a large spot. Housekeeping had not done a good job in my room—there was someone’s hair on the floor behind the bathroom door and on the shower curtain. I loved the setting on the lake.

The location is excellent, probably very nice with a view of the bay, and the heated rooftop pool was also nice to use. However, the bed felt like it had a hole in the center, so there was always the feeling of leaning. The entire place has very old wallpaper and overall just needs work. The hotel itself cannot be blamed fully, but the idea of quiet time at 10 pm was more like a quiet time of midnight at best. It might have just been the busy weekend, but in addition to the overall noise a price of what I can assume of 2‑3 times the normal rate was required to get a room that at one point we thought about sleeping in the car because it would probably be quieter.

The hotel feels like a refurbished old property, which is a plus, but it doesn’t match the quality of the nearby hotels for the price you pay; it’s a bit out of its price range for what it offers. The hallway carpet was peeling and the bricks around the fire pit were all broken, and the breakfast selection was pretty limited.
