The location was great, with a view of the castle from my room and a fifteen minute walk to the entrance of the castle. The room was a decent size along with the bathroom. The bed was on the small side but comfortable.

The location could hardly have been better: in the heart of the old town, two hundred metres from the river and right on the pedestrianised avenue that leads from old to new town. Our room was excellent, at the front of the property, served by a slightly eccentric lift. While there’s ample space to provide a bar and evening food the place seemed to be running on a skeleton staff and not utilising its space fully

Central location, historic building. In the shower area the seams are partly black, the bathroom window doesn’t close, causing strong street noise, the safe has no function, the minibar is empty, and there is no way to get drinks or snacks in the house.

Not good. Very rundown and dirty. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. There was hardly anything, and what little was offered was rarely restocked. No water glasses, only champagne glasses for drinking. Bad café.

In the city center, it works well for a day or two. I wouldn’t recommend it in summer because there’s no air conditioning, but in winter it was very nice.
