“まぁまぁ”
I liked having a choice of shampoos, but the washlet didn’t work, some lights wouldn’t turn on, a chair seat was torn, and the exhaust fan was noisy.
“本来の使い方が理想”
The location is great—just a short drive to Hokka Station. However, because this is a real love hotel, the concrete parking space was too narrow for my large luggage, so I had to park outside the main area. At check‑in, it seemed the front desk was not always staffed, so I had to call to get assistance. The front area had several couples, and when I entered my room the lock was operated remotely, so I couldn't see anyone there, which was confusing. Eventually someone from the front came, so it wasn't a major issue, but the whole setup felt restrictive: the door was locked when I tried to leave, and I panicked. There was little signage or explanation for many situations, so only someone familiar with the place would get through. Staying alone, even a little noise from the neighbor was annoying, making it hard to use this as a normal inn.
I appreciated the complimentary drinks that came with the service, and while the facilities weren’t brand‑new, the cleaning seemed good; the downside was that after check‑in I had to call the front desk each time I entered or left the room because I couldn’t unlock the door myself, which was a bit inconvenient.
“もう予約しない!”
I noticed the place was cleaned, but when I checked the bill in the room I saw the normal rate was only a third of the 18000 yen I paid for the reservation. I wondered if I could have gotten that cheaper rate without booking, and decided I wouldn't book here again. The building felt old, and although the rooms were cleaned, they still looked dirty.
