I wished they’d put something over the breakfast food because the mosquitoes were relentless and the flies on the food made me feel very uncomfortable; hygiene is essential.

Our host, Paulo Henrique, was super helpful and always around. The room was spacious and had everything we needed - a strong AC, smart TV, and comfy beds. The bathroom was simple but had all the essentials, and parking was a breeze, on top of being free. The breakfast was decent, enough to fuel up for a busy day of exploring. But the real highlight was the pool - it had an infinity edge, a lovely green view, and even a kids' area and some hydro jets.
