Great house in a secluded spot. The sauna house is separate and the sauna is super good. Unfortunately we could only stay there for one night; we would have liked to stay longer. The family gave us precise directions to the location and everything worked, we found the house nicely. Everything was good.

Ahja Puhkemaja feels like the best spot I've stayed at. Surrounded by nature, this rural cottage has a grill, a sauna, and an outdoor chill zone. A few years back, my friends and I spent two nights here while cycling through Southern Estonia, and I instantly fell for it. This year we returned for a quiet getaway and again had a great time. The village of Ahja is roughly 3 km away and has a grocery store, making it easy to grab anything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. I strongly recommend it for anyone craving peace, nature, and a cozy countryside escape.

This lovely retreat is a peaceful haven. The host is very friendly and the directions were clear enough to find the place. The complex is large, with everything you need and more. I definitely recommend it, and if you stay just one night you’ll feel like staying longer. It comfortably fits a big family. For visitors to the Kiidjärve show, it’s better to drive on the road at 10 km at night than to travel the 200 km to Tallinn.
