“Hotel con encanto”
El hotel es precioso, pequeño, en una casa histórica de la zona. Las habitaciones son amplias, las camas grandes y muy limpio. El precio es elevado pero parece que es así en Key West.

The place was clean, but the room felt too cramped for what I paid.

The staff were incredibly kind, but there was no elevator.

The place feels warm, intimate and almost like a tiny oasis right in the middle of Key West, just a stone’s throw from Duval Street and Mallory Square. The rooms were spotless and the pool was well‑kept, with sunscreen and towels supplied by the hotel. In August it was a real blessing to have the pool open, especially since the sargassum bloom made the ocean unusable for swimming. There’s also an outdoor shower tucked among the greenery, complete with shampoo and body‑wash dispensers. The staff were friendly and the fellow guests we met kept to themselves as the house rules require. Parking was always available even though spots weren’t assigned. We originally booked one night, asked to stay a second night on arrival, and the front desk instantly confirmed availability so we could enjoy the little slice of paradise a bit longer. The beds were a bit narrower than typical U.S. standards, which made them feel slightly cramped. Early‑morning maintenance work and a noisy air‑conditioner made sleeping a little harder, especially since we had a four‑hour drive to Miami after checkout and even the street roosters started crowing at dawn. Smokers should be aware that the property is 100 % non‑smoking, so no smoking is allowed anywhere inside, not even on pool loungers or balcony areas; we were asked to step outside to the entrance each time, even for e‑cigarettes, and after being reminded we complied without a fine.
