The Victorian house was stunning, literally a time capsule that made us feel like we were in a Sherlock Holmes film. The morning experience was beautiful too, with homemade breakfast served in a truly evocative room, quintessentially British! The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated that they refurnished the rooms daily (even without request) and replaced the cookie and beverage supply each day.

A lovely room, clean and comfortable with a separate study area. Breakfast was local and delicious. All was good.

The property sits in the ideal spot for exploring, the hosts are absolutely wonderful, informative, and kind. The breakfast eggs with smoked salmon are unforgettable and something I’ll miss! The rooms feel cozy yet feature brilliant modern bathrooms that feel luxurious and have everything you need. Loved it!

Excellent decor, lovely breakfast. The bedroom and en‑suite were gorgeous. The games room and art throughout were lovely. They kindly gave us some cucumbers from a local allotment, which was very sweet. The parking is a little tight/up a hill but they can’t help that!
