The only thing worth mentioning is the location. The French double bed was tucked between two walls, so to get to bed we had to climb up from the front of the bed and the same to get down, because it was recessed between the walls. To reach the bathroom we had to descend two shallow, risky steps, and the bathroom height was about 190 cm. The next morning we pointed out the issue and asked if another room was available; they said yes, but demanded an extra 200 euro on top of the amount we had already paid in advance. Naturally we refused.

The place is moving, quiet and peaceful in the center of a wonderful olive grove. The hosts and staff are fantastic. The view of the lake and surroundings is worth a million dollars. It’s clean, the new fantastic pool is great for road trips to explore nearby charming towns. It’s also close to historic cities like Perugia and Siena. The restaurants in San Feliciano are spectacular. Everything was absolutely fine.

The location is beautiful with a view of Lake Trasimeno, the staff are kind, and the sunsets are wonderful. The only downside is the unpaved uphill road to reach the property.

“Perfect location for a restful stay, within easy access of Perugia and Castiglione del Lago”

It sits just above the small town of San Feliciano, offering stunning views, a beautiful pool, and all the facilities. Nothing else comes to mind. The building is very old, sensitively restored, and comfortable.
