The location of this place is truly perfect. You’re on the main street of Canggu, so you’re minutes away from all the popular spots. Even though we’re right on the main street, we didn’t hear any noise at all. What really surprised us was the vibe. From the photos I thought it might have a party‑hostel feel, but that’s definitely not the case. It’s actually a very small, cozy boutique hotel with only eight rooms, so it feels intimate and personal. The photos look a bit outdated and don’t capture the lovely atmosphere. The pool is wonderful – sunny, plenty of loungers and umbrellas, so you can relax nicely. Every room also has its own ‘patio’ with a twin outdoor bed where you can chill. Finally, the staff deserve a shout‑out. Everyone is incredibly friendly, caring, and helpful. My boyfriend fell ill during our stay, and the staff immediately helped us find a doctor and sort out everything we needed. Because the hotel is so small, you notice how the staff really think about you and care about the guests. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it! There was basically nothing that really disappointed us. There are just a few small points worth mentioning. There are gaps under and above the front door, so it doesn’t seal completely. Also, there are no light switches next to the bed, so you have to get out of bed at night to turn the lights off. We experienced a brief power outage at least once a day. The air‑con hangs pretty high in the room, and because of the high ceiling it takes a while for the room to cool down. But overall these are tiny things that didn’t affect our experience at all. The staff are great, the location is top, the pool is lovely, and it’s just a very pleasant stay.
