The location is very nice and the building is stunning. The restaurant was closed and there was no breakfast.

The quietness is great. There is a car parking. The room is large. Nothing else comes to mind.

The heavenly holiday calm. No food, no drinks, no Wi‑Fi.

A quiet, idyllic, rustic location; the simple, clean but well equipped room is part of a small castle or the inn within it. On certain days you can also eat well there. It’s a bit lonely, there are only two rooms, you might be alone in the house and you have to like that. The bathroom and toilet are accessed through the hallway, which makes nighttime trips a bit awkward. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work, and it’s a pity that I only found out after booking that there’s no breakfast.

The property was set in a beautiful rural area, quiet, and Wernigerode was just a 15‑20 minute drive away. Check‑in and check‑out went smoothly, and the price for two nights was reasonable. The cleanliness was excellent—some could only do worse. Communication with the owners was seamless. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast, which is hard to come by in a rural setting without a bakery nearby or any way to prepare food yourself. We also couldn't use the restaurant because it was closed.
