The place stood out mainly for its location and the beach; the room itself was dark, not well lit, and when compared to other nearby options the price felt very low.

The hotel’s beach is pretty, but that’s about it, and on some days you swim amid litter; the bungalows are old and dirty, lack a sink, hot water, and the bathroom is essentially a toilet in the middle of a shower; the food is decent but repetitive—fish and white rice for lunch and dinner every day, which becomes tedious after almost a week; breakfast is good but very sparse, leaving you hungry; this place suits those who enjoy communal meals because everyone eats together, so you must be aware of that; you’re also entirely dependent on the hotel for everything, and the prices are unpredictable—tours are quoted per boat and then split among people, but the final bill differs from the initial estimate; there’s no network or internet, and the only Wi‑Fi is at the neighboring Cliff hotel for 150k for 1 GB, which we had to pay to plan the rest of our trip and departure; what shocked me most was the boss’s terrible, disrespectful attitude, seeming to terrorize his staff; unfortunately, our stay ended on a very negative note when we were scammed by the boss who was supposed to ferry us to Bunta port but instead changed course at sea to drop us somewhere else while our taxi waited at Bunta pier.

You can snorkel right off the beach with plenty of directions to explore; lucky guests spot baby sharks, turtles, and a variety of beautiful, exotic sea creatures and coral; the accommodation is simple yet clean and charming with beach views; the food is tasty and varied; the staff are fantastic—friendly, accommodating every need, arranging many trips and activities, and helping with further travel plans; one staff member, Baju, played guitar and even set up a bonfire on the beach at night, which was perfect; if you want to disconnect from the outside world and live a simple life, this is the place for you.
