The manager was extremely helpful, the room was huge, clean, and gorgeous. The food was top‑tier and service flawless. Dinner, however, was served in a brightly lit room that felt less pleasant than the breakfast room; moving dinner to the breakfast room might improve the experience.

After contacting the hotel before our arrival, we were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to the house suite. The staff were welcoming, the room and view were spectacular, breakfast was fantastic, and overall we had a thoroughly lovely time.

The stately old manor house is beautiful, full of character, and tastefully decorated. The downside is noisy neighbors in the hotel, with people returning to their rooms in an old building that isn’t sound‑proofed, creating a disruptive atmosphere.
