It was well located and the price‑quality ratio was fine but I wouldn’t return. The room was dirty, we arrived and had only one small duvet for two people

We checked in at 2:30 PM, a half‑hour after the 2:00 PM deadline, and the cramped reception desk was manned by a receptionist who didn’t speak English and refused to take our IDs or properly register us, probably to dodge taxes. The room was supposedly ready, but the door wouldn’t unlock, so they sent us to an alternate room that was dirty and unclean while they fixed the lock. We left for town, returned at 7:30 PM, entered the room, left our bags, and went shopping without inspecting it. When we came back, the place was filthy: carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, the kitchen was poorly equipped with an unwashed, grimy glass, and the bathroom was covered in mold and dirt. Hair from other guests was everywhere, especially on the toilet and the bed. We asked for a refund, but after negotiating with staff who didn’t speak English, only 50 % of the amount was returned. The owner I spoke to on the phone was annoyed and arrogant. We had to find another place to stay, even though it was very late.
