Breakfast was sufficient, daily cleaning was good, and the gracious host provided instant help whenever we asked; we could use the wood stove freely. However, the village is fairly isolated if you want to visit attractions outside the Smochovo baths; the routes to Karpenisi, Prossos, the Hanging Bridge, Lake Plastira, and Megalo Chorio involve many turns and long distances, making them unsuitable for a short drive.

The rooms were wonderful, tastefully decorated, and the host Evangelia was exceptionally kind and helpful! The village itself is gorgeous – we’ll definitely return! Everything was fantastic!
