“Helemaal top, vriendelijke gastheer, mooie omgeving.”
The location is beautiful and steeped in history; the current host Jerome is very friendly and his English is as good as my French, so we got along well; the rooms are atmospheric, with wooden beams giving an authentic look; the bathroom was fine and clean; breakfast was typical French and well‑prepared, with Jerome often checking to ensure everything was to our liking; we stayed here for one night as a stopover. Perhaps air‑conditioning in the rooms would be a useful luxury given the current temperatures.
