The hosts were very warm. Even with language issues it was a pure pleasure. The location was a bit remote, but exactly what we wanted – away from any bustle.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Clos des Palmiers! From the moment we arrived, Evelyne and Rémy welcomed us with exceptional kindness and friendliness! ❤️❤️❤️ We were truly pampered throughout: homemade breakfasts, useful tips to explore the region (La Rochelle, l’Île de Ré, Parc naturel du Marais Poitevin…), plus their great recommendations for local eateries! The setting is simply paradise: a beautifully renovated Charente house with great taste, impeccable comfort, spotless cleanliness, and a terrace, garden and pool all superbly arranged. A real haven of peace where it’s nice to relax… and we even got to spot a cute little squirrel from time to time, apparently making this little paradise its home! 🐿️ 🥰 Huge thanks to Evelyne and Rémy for their warm welcome, availability and all their little touches that made our stay even more exceptional!
