The place feels very special and intimate, the pool is amazing with a stunning view. The rooms themselves are minimal but sufficient and felt worth the price. Breakfast is vegan and basic. For those without a scooter, the travel is relatively difficult with steep climbs. The rooms were not brand new; walls had stains or peeling paint, but that didn’t bother us.

The views are amazing, the welcome is warm and the owners are very helpful, arranging bikes, taxis, and recommending places to visit. Even though we’re not vegan we liked the food. The location is peaceful and tranquil, yet less than 10 minutes from stores and main streets. The farmroom was very comfortable and clean, and the gym offers great views and equipment. Definitely will return.

At Kapuhala we truly felt special. The peaceful atmosphere, amazing view, and attention to every detail were wonderful. What made it unforgettable was the staff’s kindness and sincerity—Arthur always ready to help, and a special thanks to Phoebe and Silvina for their incredible positivity. They treated us like old friends, noticed small details, and were always willing to help, making our stay even more memorable. We’ll look forward to sharing baklava with Phoebe again. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily with great care, enhancing our comfort. The people behind the place are what make it unforgettable. We leave Kapuhala with beautiful memories and will definitely choose it again when we return to Koh Samui. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

The food was delicious, and the pool area, rooms, and decor really stood out. I especially appreciated how friendly the staff were; every question was answered politely and no request was left unfulfilled. We’ll definitely return, and it was great that the on‑site contacts helped fine‑tune our entire trip plan. The location is high up on the mountain, but getting there by Grab‑rider or car is easy. It would be nice to have one or two more loungers by the pool and a full‑body mirror in the room, but overall the only complaints are minor.

I loved this hotel; the view is stunning, everything is impeccably clean and tastefully designed. The vibe is very calming—peaceful, quiet, yet accented by pleasant music around the infinity pool. The setting is perfect, perched on a hill amid lush jungle, with birdsong and close proximity to nature adding extra charm. The food was excellent, entirely vegan—fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Our room was spotless, very comfortable, and the terrace offered a superb view. Everything surpassed our expectations. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike; everything was wonderful and thoughtfully arranged, making our stay memorable. Just keep in mind that because of the hilltop location you’ll need a car, scooter, taxi or Grab to reach the beach or nearby restaurants, which wasn’t an issue for us but is useful to know beforehand.
